Failure of Updates to Install

I have been able to download but not install the
following updates from the Microsoft Update website:

810577 (Security Update)
811630 (Critical Update).

I have Windows XP.

Please email help to be since I don't seem to know how to
find replies on this newsgroups site. Thank you.

Don't forget steps 6-9 catroot 2 file.
