Windows XP Update 331953

I have downloaded Windows Update #331953 at LEAST 10 times
now. I download it, install it, and the next day I get a
notice that there is another update. I check it and it is
#331953 again. Is anyone else having this problem.....and
does anyone have a solution??? Thanks for your help!!!!

Go to C:/windows/system32 and find file 'catboot2' and rename it such as
oldboot2. Reboot download and install the updates. A corrupt catboot2 file
causes this problem. A new catboot2 file will be generated and a later
update will prevent this file from getting corrupt. .
