This may be the wrong place to ask but is there a known
problem that exists that prevents a screensaver to run?
The screensaver has never worked since the install of XP
pro. Installed dual boot after a repartition dividing my
10gig HD in half, keeping my 98se intact using partition
magic. This is the only program that doesn't work.

I've used up all settings options and now was preparing
for a reinstall of XP, which I would rather avoid if
possible.

My video card is a GeForce3 Ti200 64 using Nvidia 3082
driver.

MB is a AV40 shuttle via chipset
2ghz P4 with 1ghz 2100ddr

Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services, scroll down to
TASK SCHEDULER, right-click on it and select PROPERTIES.
Set it to AUTOMATIC and then click START.

Right-click on your desktop and select:
Properties > Settings > Advanced > Troubleshoot
and move the Hardware Acceleration slider to "Full",
then click "Apply".
