I am not a expert at this, but seeing you have no reply
yet I will give some advice. First, usualy you get beeps
during bootup, thats the bios trying to give you a
message if the screen dont come up. You would have to go
to your mother board manual or the bios website for the
codes ( listen for how many beeps). Second, you can check
this. Go to control panel>system properties advance tab>
performance settings button takes you to performance
options>visual effects tab. See if "Let windows choose
whats best for my computer" button is checked. Also make
sure all options is checked in window. If all that is OK,
then go into advanced tab and maybe you need to change
something there? Write down what ever you do so you can
change back if needed. Good luck........Skip
