If I want to delete a file/folder but check the content
before i deletr it, RT CLK Properties or browse more than
say 2 levels it it does not allow me to delete the folder
untill I reboot. The error message:
Error Deleting File or Folder
Cannon delete "_____": It is being used by another person
or program
Calse any programs that may be useing the file and try
again.
I am the only use on this machine. and the only program
accessing it is windows. I have Norton utilities
installed and suspected this but even after I uninstalled
it it was still doing it.
I was going to reinstall the machine but the file
trandfer wizard does not seem to bring all the setting
accross reliably. maybe due to size. 80Gb partitioned
40/40 75% used.
I regularly run windows update and generaly install all
the updates.
I have been troubeshooting / living with this for a while
but would like to resolve this.
