Windows Update

I have been trying to get a critical update, Q329441,
installed for a few weeks now. I keep getting this as an
automatic download, but although it appears to install,
it reappears a few days later. Also, it shows as failing
to install when I visit Windows Update.

Any ideas anyone?

If it is listed in add/remove programs then uninstall it and download and
reinstall. If not listed go to C:/windows/system32, find file catroot2 and
rename it to oldroot2. Then reboot, download and reinstall. A new catroot2
file will be built.
