I have a problem with AOL crashing each time I exit UNLESS
I start my computer in Debugging mode. There is an error
message on the screen just before the crash but it doesnt
stay on the screen long enough to read it. AOL have
suggested various alternatives including re-loading the
Programme but none of this has worked. Has anyone
experienced this and have a solution. Many thanks.

Yep the solution's simple. Uninstall AOHELL and use a proper ISP that
doesn't install extraneous garbageware. AOHELL is, at best, a PITA and, at
worst, a trojan. This group does not concern itself with AOHELL because most
posters are sensible enough to know not to use it.
If you're having problems with AOHELL, contact their support. If they can't
help you, you're on your own.

Hi Peter
What OS are you running?
Did AOL suggest some disk cleanup

Please do not use my signature. This is the general feeling about AOHELL
held by the majority of experts (MVPs) here (AFAIK). AOHELL is a bugger to
remove. I remember having a client who installed it on her machine and it
really did screw things up, big time. I had to spend several hours backing
up the data, formatting the drive and reinstalling Windows. I've seen the
sort of damage, that AOHELL can cause, first hand. It wasn't her fault, it
came with her new computer - the six months free subscription had expired
and she decided she didn't want it anymore. I felt so sorry for her I only
charged her for half an hour.

So sorry for using a NAME that you POST. (caps are for=20
emphasis only). If AOL upsets you so much, maybe you=20
shouldn't respond to post's re: AOL. Though, I do=20
remember your response a month or so ago re: not being=20
able to save a pic from a web page, and eventhough you=20
didn't directly respond to the query, you're response did=20
give me the idea to minimize AOL and use IE. So thanks!
