MS record application___every time I use this {recorder} in a conversation,
I have to untick the mute box on every bootup__Is this normal___and is there
a better recorder program elsewhere

Not free, but "Total Recall" is a super prog. Bought it 2 years ago (about
GBP10) - and their tech support is excellent. Also, unlimited free upgrades
....
