Yesterday 27 April, the majority of my shortcut icons
disappeared on me. My desktop cleanup wizard is deselected
so it will not try to remove unused icons every 60 days.
Some of the shortcuts that disappeared are used daily. The
big problem is I can't even find the files/folders which
the shortcut icons were attached to. I've lost hundreds of
mp3 files, at least I can no longer find them. I've tried
to restore back to 10 different dates and I can't get the
restore wizard to work for me, it keeps telling me, after
restarting the compute,it's unable to restore to the date
selected.
Can anyone out there help or give me any suggestions??
