Task Scheduler not working

I am not able to utilize the Scheduled Task feature. I am
able to add and remove tasks but the function does not
work. It is turned on and leaves a message that the tasks
have not been run at startup. I am assumeing that an exe
file is damaged or missing. Has anyone had a similare
problem. Thanks, Art
