XP Professional SP2/Windows Installer

This is on a PC that came pre-loaded with SP2 and we were successful in
loading all our apps but now all of sudden we can not install or uninstall
any programs. I am an Admin on the PC. Anyone have any other ideas less
re-installing the OS and all applications? I've tried the following to no
avail:

Article ID 555175
Article ID 315353
Article ID 324516
Article ID 885894
Article ID 888019

I've also tried the TID's from Kelly's Korner also without luck.
