Many report it works very well.
It is not intended to detect cookies at this time, other than that it works
very well.

More information is available on the Microsoft AntiSpyware newsgroups:

A bit slower than the average cleaner. Note: Do not select the default to
have it run upon boot.....it does not clear the process from the previous
run and keeps both in memory. In other words, your system will be very slow
to perform any action.

How do I disable it from starting at boot? Where can I check that? I
installed it but I think I kept it at default.

Thanks.

Hi Helen,

Check your Real Time Protection settings under Options/Settings. Other than
that, it depends on the what was found during a scan. At times it will ask
you to have it run upon boot to clean items that were previously being used
while still in memory. That said, it then fails to release the processes
via the Task Manager. Either leave your settings be or remember to end them
via the Task Manager.

Good luck!

I didn't like it and other freeware programs I use do a better job. It
seems to scan files based on filename rather than file content and thus
issues false positives. It does not scan cookies. Its default settings
for real-time protection can slow system performance. Finally, it's beta
and unless you want to beta test it for MS and report your findings to
the appropriate group then give it a pass.
