When I start up my computer I get the message "can't find
\\.\Dri_filtr. I don't know what that is but a techy
from another wireless Co. tells me I need to put in my
disk with the XP and ask for repair. I don't have the
disk because it came loaded on my laptop.

So what do I do?

Should have been some "Recovery" disks that are a substitute for the Windows
CD. Try them.

It looks as if you have mapped a network drive to your laptop and
have the Reconnect at logon option checked. If you are no longer
connected to the network, the drive is unavailable.

Try re-installing the software that came with your laptop's keyboard...your
vendor should have supplied you with a recovery disk?

I have had this problem on a customer's machine.
