I have Windows XP Pro and am trying to intall an application that
seems to work on most systems, including they say this one, but every
time I get about 90% finished it sends a message about "skipping
TahomaBD font" and then the install just hangs up and stops
responding.
I did a web search and found a similar problem with a diffrent program
installation and there the advice was to move or delete both tahoma
fonts from the font folder. I tried that but they just seem to bounce
right back.
A programmer said I should check and make sure that those fonts are
not read only, but they are not.
I suppose that the skipping font message COULD just be a red herring
that just happens always to be the last thing that sent a message
before something else happens.
Any suggestions?
