Need help windows folder internet logs taking 51gb of hard drive

Hi,
I'm trying to find out why a folder in windows called internet logs is
taking 51.5gb of my 80gb hard drive. If anyone knows what would cause this
and how I correct the problem I'd like to hear from you. I don't know if I
can just delete the folder or if it will just do it again after I delete it.
If anyone knows something please let me know.
