Alright, I need help: I keep on getting this bloody message:
c:\$mft is corrupt and unreadable. I've tried System Restore a
thousand
times, it does not work. I've rebooted about a million and it always
defaults to chkdsk! Chkdsk does jack! My computer has considerably
slowed down and I feel like I've been thrown back to the stoneage. I
want my computer back to its pre-SP1 existense! As a last desperate
attmept to solve problems I uninstalled SP1, but my computer still
runs chkdsk at boot and it's still slow...I think that damn MFT has
been permanently damaged: Damn those packages to hell! I'm going NUTS!
HELP! Concrete and PROVEN solutions are SO WELCOME: Thanks, Gizmo

Sounds like what you need to do is to re-format and restore. Do you have
good backups of files on this drive?
