How can I adjust for the waves or horizontal lines that
move up the monitor? It's making my wife sea-sick and I'm
annoyed that I can't find a simply software solution. I'm
using a flat panel, flat screen monitor (Viewsonic VG150
ViewPanel), and am sure it's a simple resolution
adjustment...... or is it?
Thank you.

Well, the quick fix is to give your wife some Dramamine, but you'll probably
want a more long term solution. If you are using Viewsonic's most recent
monitor driver and running your LCD at its native resolution with optimal
color depth, this does not appear to be a Windows XP-related problem. More
likely you have some hardware issue. There may be someone in this group who
can help, or you can try posting to the comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware.video
board. There's also Viewsonic tech support.

Could you describe the problem a little better? Does the flat panel have
it's own line cord? If you move the connecting cable will the waves subside?
Trying to be not too technical but need more info.
