Office Update Problem

I am running an Acer Tablet PC and I am trying to install
the Office XP Service Pack 1. It downloaded but then
tried to install and it said it was unsuccessful. Each
time I go to the update site it searches for available
updates as normal. It finds Service Pack 1, says it has
been downloaded but not installed. I go through the steps
to install but always the same message, Installation
Unsuccessful. Is there a way to delete the downloaded
install and start from scratch? (By the way, I already
looked in Add/Remove Programs... not there.) Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nicholas:

Just because he has a tablet pc, it doesn't mean that's the proper
newsgroup. He's actually got a problem with an Office product.

This would be like telling all the Dell users to find a Dell site, and all
the Compaq users to go away and find the Compaq site.
