I have been monitoring my system closely-due to the fact
that my hard drive transfer mode changed to PIO mode all
by it self-But thats another story, and I noticed at
system start up my CPU is maxxed out at 98-100% while in
PIO mode this was quite the problem and severely slowed
me down during this time-Since I changed it back, My
system acts "normally" but I am still concerned about My
CPU usage. All of it is from regsvc32.exe---Can anyone
tell me anything about this process and why it commands
so much attention for 4-5 min at start-up. I am pretty
confident that this process is an important part of the
operating system, just not sure about the level at start-
up. Any words of the wise would be highly appreciated.
THANK YOU. M.C.

There is the odd misspelt mention on that page to regsvr32 which is =
legit.

level at start-up and there is no sign of regsvc32 in my
system, All is functioning "normal"-You guys are great,
