XP Pro SP1 updated to SP2 with all Windows Updates.

Is this what it's supposed to show? What other updates and Microsoft
downloads should I install other than those on the Windows Update site? DX

That is the current version.
You don't particularly need any of the updates you have listed.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't install them.
Script 5.6 is the native version in XP
I would do the MDAC and Jet updates and run the Antispyware (but remember it
is beta software)

Post-SP2 updates don't appear in IE Help > About anymore, FS. Yes, this is
new.
How to configure and use Automatic Updates in Windows XP:

You should install *all* critical updates.

Check for the Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 and its update. You probably
have it but that is one I can think of.

Automatic Updates are already configured with SP2. Net Framework 1.1 and SP1
were Windows Updates, so they are already installed. Thank you for letting
me know that updates no longer appear in IE-Help-About.
Scott has the Microsoft Antispyware installed. I played around with it a bit
on his XP machine. Whenever you click on certain links for "more
information", you get "this page cannot be displayed" or you get
"information not available" with "s:" as the hyperlink in the error message.
Maybe Microsoft has not written that part of the program yet.
Do you think the Sun Java Runtime should be installed, or should I just use
the JavaVM that came with XP?
