Once again I downloaded Service Pk 2 and agin, my Canon printer refuses to
print. So I go to the Canon website and they say..."no prob...we have a
driver you can download..." I try to get the page but the page comes up
blank! even tho I allowed pop-ups for their site. Any ideas anyone? It's
critical because my stepsons keep downloading Internet-played games and I am
now starting to get annoying pop-ups (Your PC may have critical errors on
it). I have Norton Internet Security but I believe that without Windows
SP2...I'm sunk. Help!

Which Canon printer.

Have you tried CORRECTLY uninstalling and reinstalling it?

For removal of spyware install and run:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=321cd7a2-6a57-4c57-a8bd-dbf62eda9671&displaylang=en

Schedule it to do an automatic check every night (at say 2am or when you are
not busy on the PC)
