DLL files lost

i must have accidentally deleted several .DLL files
because when my computer starts up i get several little
windows that tells me newdot~ect.DLL file not found. i
have no clue how to reinstall these, can anyone help?
can i just re-installs windows xp over the existing one?
my xp disc doesnt give me a "repair" option
any help is appreciated.

Hi Mike,

If you deleted those files, it's probably a good thing (or perhaps you used
Adaware or some other spyware removal program?). The error refers to
Newdotnet, a bit of junk installed on your system. Check Control Panel/Add &
Remove, uninstall newdotnet. See this link for full removal steps:

It is an add-on program that you likely installed as a bundled part of some
other freeware/shareware you downloaded. To correctly uninstall it, you may
need to reinstall it first.
