View Full Version : XP suddenly uses 80-95% of cpu for a "system" process

There are a number of posts here regarding a MS Critical
update causing slow system response Check in Control
panel - Add or Remove programs for the 811493 (sp2) update
if it is there remove it (it detect that you have IE &
Outlook express & warn you that they may not work after
the uninstall, no worries they will, just say yes &
restart. It helped me, hope it works for you.
