restrict temp directory size for users

strange, I have 3 computers running xp pro. 2 work well,
one does not. I have tried to configure them the same,
but...

I need to know where/how to set the size on my "users"
temp directory in the Local Settings folder.

On this one computer, I have been having problems with it
freezing etc.. investigation proves that over 20 gig of
info is sitting in this users temp dir.

Rather than restricting size, set a task to run daily/weekly that cleans out the
directory when the user boots up
