Norton Antivirus not starting up after starting computer

Problem: Norton Antivirus not starting when computer
starts.

When: After I loaded the Walmart Connect Internet service
software and also just after I installed the latest
Windows update and right after I Unistalled the AOL
software.

Fix: Can restore my machine to point before loading
either the Windows update (April 18) or the Walmart
software and the Norton starts up just it is supposed to.

Situation: I can't determine if loading the latest
Windows Update caused the problem, Unistalling the AOL
software caused the problem, or loading the Walmart
software caused the problem.

I've also closed the AOL account so I can't go online to
get help without the Walmart software or opening another
Internet account.

Anyone got a suggestion?
