I recently used Bootvis to try and optimize my boot
process. On the 3rd or 4th pass, when I tried rebooting my
computer it crashed after the "DEL" for setup initial BIOS
screen and told me something to the effect of "The
directory Windows/system32/config is corrupt, please load
your windows boot disk and select R for repair".
Well, I tried that and it simply takes me to a DOS prompt
with a bunch of commands. I have no idea what command
would fix my problem... and I can't submit a request for
help to Microsoft because I can't use my computer to get
my product ID.
If anyone knows what to do please respond :(
