I am distributing Windows Messenger 5.1 & MUI 5.1 back to
back and seem to be having a problem with approximately
15% of my clients.
The problem is that the launch conditions for the MUI msi
installation is failing. However, the MSI log file for
the messenger base lists installation is fine. The ARP
entry for the base is not present even though the msi log
says everything is fine.
I think the problem is somewhere buried in the custom
actions of the messenger or mui msi installations and I am
not sure where. Has anyone seen similar issues?
