I have an infected system file (system32.exe) and need to
replace it. Can anyone help me along the way please?

Thanks in advance...

Why do you want to replace "system32.exe"? That is a virus
file itself! It is not a Microsoft Windows XP file! You need to
permanently delete "system32.exe".

Nicholas,

Thanks for your post.

I want to do that, because that's what my virus checker
said to do! :o)

if you are talking about the benjamin worm that creates a
sys32 file, then you will see inside the sys32 file a bunch of
creative names of files all having about the same size and the
extension: *.scr. the sys32 file is the one you want to do
something about, not the other sys32 file.
