checking for errors on hard drive

I used the drive error checking feature in Windows XP on
my hard drive and when I re-started my computer, I got an
error saying it cannot open the partition. Now I get that
every time I start Windows. I have one NTFS partition.

What is the exact text of the error message? Check your floppy drive
and remove the disk if there's one.
