Hi,
Every time I log off and log back on, my Windows Firewall comes up turned
off. I can turn it back on with no problem, but it doesn't seem to "take."
Anything I can do to prevent it from being turned off at each logon?
Thanks.

Are you using a third party firewall? Like Norton ,etc? If so, these
firewalls turn off Win. firewall to avoid conflicts, Hope this helps. Best of
luck to you.

Ron, I still have the problem and I ma not using another firewall. I think
this problem appeared when I downloaded and installed either a movie or
music. No virus nor malware. What to do next? Thanks.

Check that your service for the firewall is set to automatically start when
Windows starts. The service name is "Windows Firewall/Internet Connection
Sharing (ICS)".

Hello robit,
I am sorry it took so long to respond. I had service calls today.
Are you still having trouble? If so please post back. Also, use care when
you download music. That is a great way to download some serious trouble that
your anti-virus and spy-ware checker can't find. Best of luck to you .
