start up

seems like when i start up or reboot it takes forever.
where can you see what is loading on start up. i have a
pIII 550 gateway w/ 512 meg of ram and 128meg radeon
video card. any help would be appreciated.

Download and run "BootVis.exe Tool"
http://www.microsoft.com/hwdev/platform/performance/fastboot/default.asp

Go to START > RUN and type: MSCONFIG , and hit enter. Then look
under the STARTUP tab for programs you do not want to start. Uncheck
those and click APPLY.
