I have a small but annoying problem.

Where can I toggle keyboard typing key click on and off?
I know I can mute the PC Speaker but that is not the real answer to the
problem -- more of a work around.

Right now it is turned on (have no idea how that happened) and I need
it off for working quietly at client worksite.

I have WIN XP Pro OS loaded on a DELL Latitude C840 laptop.

What I have tried so far:
@--Control Panel -- mouse
@--Control Panel -- system
@--Control Panel -- speech
@--Control Panel -- sounds and Audio Devices
@--Control Panel -- keyboard

Thanks.

Try this:
@--Control Panel--Accessibility Options
At the KEYBOARD tab----------Disable the check mark "Use ToggleKeys"

Thanks for your reply.

I gave your suggestion a try but it only affects sound of CAPS LOCK,
SCROLL LOCK and NUM LOCK.

I searched DELL support and MS-KB as well as Google groups.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Windows doesn't do keyclicks. Your computer is deciding to. Ask at Dell
http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/

But the answer is probably in the computer's manual.
