So here is the scoop:

I have a computer in my family room that had shared folders, and a computer
in the office with information stored on the family room shared folder. I
reformatted the family computer, (forgetting about the information stored in
the shared folder) and now all of the information is gone.

I was wondering... (since you can still see the documents on the office
computer, if they get stored anywhere on the computer that accesses these
files from the shared folder?

These were some seriously important files. Is there anything I can do to
retreive them?

Thanks.

The files are accessible via the remote because of shares only?
If so - nope - gone - you formatted the one with the information.
