I find that if I try to hibernate immediately after boot. I can but one the
machine has been running for some time, if I try to hibernate I get:

"Windows - System Error : Insufficient system resources exist to complete
the API. " and the hibernate fails.

This is really annoyingt if I leave the machine running unattended not on
power I rely on the hibernate to save me from running the battery flat.

Does anybody know a fix.

I have service pack 2.
I have 10GB free on my hard drive.
hiberfil.sys is 2GB in size. As is pagefile.sys.

Thanks

Hi,

Are you using NTFS or FAT32?

It may help to disable the hibernate function, reboot and delete
hiberfil.sys. Then restart it, and allow the file to rebuild fresh.
