I have MicrosoftXP,whenever I receive Excel 97
attachements I can view only through using an adaptor -
is there any way I can not only see the document but edit
them also ?

Hi

You will have to install either a standalone version of Excel or one of =
the MS Office Suites to be able to edit those files:

An "adaptor"? Do you mean you have the free Excel viewer?

To edit Execl douments, you need to buy a copy of Excel, which
you can buy either by itself or as part of Microsoft Office.

You can also use a compatible spreadsheet program, such as that
in WordPerfect Office, StarOffice, or OpenOffice.
