Graphics problem...

I started having a serious problem with my graphics.
During games and some screensavers there is a horrible
bad texture problem. Under DXdiag, the Direct3d 7 test
shows the same proble on the spinning cube.
Here are the steps I've already taken:

Tried various hardware accelaration settings

Re-installed Direct X 9

Uninstalled Graphics adapter and let Windows auto-
reinstall it

Nothing seems to be having any effect...any ideas?
