I have Windows XP Home Edition Upgrade and have not had
any major problems in a long while.Don't know what the
current problem is but ,among other things, I am not able
to Restore to "any" earlier time. Some programs aren't
responding without boxes coming up that require me
to "click" and have them find the correct path, etc.
ACDSee, for instance. It then works ok but I have to go
through this process every time. I think something is
missing, corrupted or just fouled up in the
Registry ...or I have lost favor with the
little 'computer god' in my machine. Is there a Registry
repair I can use in the system.I'm a relative novice and
don't fool with the Registry but wonder if there's an
automatic pgm. that can check it out. Thanks so much.
