Overnight, my computer suddenly won't play any sounds. The volumes on full,
and not on mute, but no sound is coming when i try to play cds or just
generally use my computer. I haven't altered any settings, so don't know what
could have caused it.

Many thanks for anyone that can help with this!

I am having a hard time understanding my options you gave me. According to
the website link you sent, I should be OK, but my computer is still without
sound.
