Inside windows I have a folder INF.
For each name I have two lines with different sizes and dates :one mention
setup, the other one Precompiled setup. Is it advisable to delete one line ?
Thanks for your answer andrede

Generally, if you are uninstalling something, it is safe to delete the
related INF and the corresponding PNF (if there is one).

Hello - you didn't mention in your first post that you were thinking
of reinstalling windows - I thought you had an issue with a hardware device
/driver.
Are you trying to repair your current installation? Why do you feel it is
necessary to delete the INF folder?

Everything is working fine and I have no problem so far.My question was
regarding the fact that I have two entries with different dates and sizes in
the folder INF for each name, one mentionned setup the other one precompiled
setup ,with a suffix PNF after the name.
Thanks for your answer.andrede

It's not a problem - we all have those.
