View Full Version : Bad web links in my alerts window

I'm getting bad web links in my alerts tab. Even the little popup from the
system tray has bad links. Is the problem on my side or a problem with
Messenger. I just upgrade to v5.1 of Windows Messenger, but it did not help.
Any ideas?
Here is a sample of one of the links:

Greetings tigerman,
That's exactly what they should be and the link works fine. What exactly is the problem with
it?

All the alert links (like the sample I gave), give me a "Not Found" error.
I've tried copying the URL directly into the IE address field and I get the
same error. Does the link work in your browswer?
Thanks, Jay.

Thanks for your help, it seems to be a problem with my browser. I tried the
link on a different computer and it worked. Now I have to solve my browser
issue. Could be a spyware redirect perhaps.
Thanks anyway, Jay.
