How do I uninstall SP2 if it is not listed in the add remove programs list? I
need to upgrade from home to XP and since my OEM Home version has SP2, and my
Upgrade XP Pro version doen't, it says "The OS on the system in newer than
the one you want to install", and then the option is "cancel", and thats it..
Real cool!
Thank you,
Kelly

Start/Control Panel/Add or Remove (make sure that Show Updates is enabled).

You don't necessarily need to uninstall SP2. It would be wiser to
create a XP Pro installation disk slipstreamed with SP2. That will
upgrade XP Home SP2 just fine.
For slipstreaming:
The ElderGeek
http://www.theeldergeek.com/slipstreamed_xpsp2_cd.htm
or:
Autostreamer

If you would rather remove SP2 first then see this:
