I am using XP Home and want to add more memory to my
machine.
From System Information, I can only get the amount of
memory installed but the speed is not shown up.
Is it possible for me to find out the speed of DDR RAM
being used ?

i would suggest taking it out and looking on the hardware itself.
otherwise i think there are some programs on the web that you can use but i
have no specific knowledge of these.

Roger,
Go to www.aida32.hu and DL/run their AIDA32 program. It will usually ID the
mfr of the DIMM and all the parameters. Lots of other good info also and
this utility is Free.
