Uninstalling updates

I recently installed two updates: 811493 and Q817287.
The performance on my computer immediately slowed.
Instead of opening programs almost instantaneously, it
now takes about 10 seconds to open Word or Internet
Explorer. Is there some way to uninstall these updates?

Yes! But only uninstall 811493. That's the one causing the problem. In
control panel add/remove programs find 811493 highlight it and click remove.
