I'm reposting this. I didnt get an answer yet.
When I try to manually put system into standby, I get this
(alert?). (It seems to go auto standby OK, after the
alloted time without activity.)
Standby System Failed
The device driver for the 'standard 101/102-key or
Microsoft Natural PS/2 keyboard' device is preventing the
machine from entering standby. Please close all
applications and try again. If the problem persists, you
may have to update this driver.
I'm using a laptop with an external ( reg ) k-board, USB
conn. I tried the recommended trouble shooting procedure
for checking drivers. I did this both with/without the
external k-board plugged in. Each time I was 'told' the
drivers were the correct ones and were working as they
should be.
I have also done the various utility scans to see if this
corrected the problem. It did not.
Any help with this please?
