Can anyone out there tell me what the average size of a
profile is? Using xp client w2k server. Usual apps
installed - Office xp, acrobat reader, netscape, real
player etc. but also have most of visual studio .net
installed - does visual studio .net make a big difference
to profile size? I'm currently getting a login time of
approx 30 seconds but I'm told that it should really be
quicker than this (somewhere around 10 secs). The profile
is currently sitting at around 5Mb.
Before anyone says it - DNS appears to be set up
correctly - clients all pointing to AD DNS server, which
is in turn set to point to itself for DNS. Not really
interested in setting up forwarders at this stage until
I'm happy with the login times on the AD domain.
Anybody got any ideas or info?
