The Search Companion on my computer comes up constantly
when I'm working in programs. The main time is when I'm
in Microsoft Works Spreadsheet. If I change an existing
value in a cell, the Search Companion pops up and tries
searching. It also comes up sometimes when I'm in Word.
It is very annoying and I'm wondering how I get it to
stop? I've tried changing the setting of the Search
Companion, but it hasn't worked. Can anyone help me?

I tried the registry and it already had NONE in the box.
Can you think of any other way to fix this problem?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Have you run 'sfc/ scannow'? Also, Kellys may have a fix for this at

I went into the registry and found that it already said
NONE in the box. Can you think of any other way to fix
my problem?

Thanks,
Jeremy
