After following the suggestions that Nick gave you, if you
continue to have problems....my personal suggestion is to
scrap Diskeeper, and use the defrag that is suppled with
windows. I purchased Diskeeper(full version)....and have
taken it off my system. It is highly problematic,
intrusive, and is a pain to deal with. I will cause
compatibility problems with other programs you
run....and...be prepared to get some help getting it un-
insatlled....it is often an impossible task.

David -

Out of curiosity, did you contact the Executive Software Tech Support
folks to see if they can help you work out whatever problems you were
having? Diskeeper didn't become the best-selling disk defragmenter
for Windows by being "highly problematic, intrusive and a pain to deal
with". There are millions of systems running Diskeeper without a
hitch.

Also, the Uninstall procedure works -- if you ran into problems they
were unique to your system and not a common issue.

I'd hazard a guess that any problems you were experiencing with the
full version of Diskeeper coulld have been handled by a quick phone
call or e-mail message to our Tech Support department.

Best regards -
