Uninstalling

I had a really good antivirus program, but its foldeer
got deleted, and I cannot reinstall it. It says that the
old in installed and needs to be uninstalled before the
new one can be installed. So, i wont to control panel,
add/remove programs, and selected my antivirus to
uninstall, but it said that the uninstall files were
missing. So, how do I uninstall a program whos uninstall
program has been deleted?
