Hi everyone!
Is it possible to use MSN Messenger only with the chat feature? I intend to
propagate MSN Meesenger at company but I would like to block video, voice and
file transfer as well. Is it possible, maybe blocking some ports/protocols at
the firewall?
Thanks!!!!!

You are not obliged to accept either video or voice if that is your choice..

Hi Mike,
I agree with you, but I would like to block definetly the video, voice and
file transfer because we intend to implement in our company with chat only.
We wouldn´t like users trying to transfer files to their machines..
Tks!!!

Greetings Mack,
You can block functions with Windows Messenger (there are GPO options), but not MSN
Messenger.
