I am a DVORAK keyboard typist. WindowsXP makes it very
easy to choose that keyboard layout and even puts a
shortcut on the taskbar for switching back and forth.
The problem is that, even though I have set DVORAK as the
default keyboard layout, my PC frequently reverts back to
QWERTY. This often happens in the midst of a Word
document (using either Word97 or Word 2002). So, I might
be at the end of a document, go back to modify some text
in the middle, then return to the end and resume typing,
only to find gibberish.
I have found nothing about this on WinXP or MSWord
newsgroups, but I have seen it on two separate XP
installs so far. Any suggestions?
